We provide this information voluntarily and in advance. The main obligations of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act) apply from 11 December 2027; the obligation to report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe security incidents has applied since 11 September 2026.
Intended use and security properties
Sudoku Sanctuary is an offline puzzle and farm game for entertainment on Android smartphones and tablets.
- No account, no server of our own, no game data sent to us.
- Game progress and settings are kept only in the protected app storage on your device.
- The game interface loads only files included in the app (Content Security Policy); unencrypted connections are blocked.
- Network connections are made only to Google: Google Play (purchases when you open the Premium section, buy, restore purchases or request an ad, and at start only after a purchase; updates), the consent tool (at the earliest after your first completed puzzle, or when you request an ad before that) and ads (additionally only after your consent).
- The app requests only the permissions its features need; notifications only when you switch on reminders.
Tips for safe use
- Install the app only via Google Play. Copies from other sources may have been modified.
- Keep Android and the app up to date. Security may be impaired on rooted or badly outdated devices.
- Protect your device with a screen lock and require authentication for purchases in Google Play so that nobody else can buy in your name.
Updates and support period
We provide security updates free of charge via Google Play at least until December 2031. Where possible, we publish security fixes as separate, prompt updates.
You receive updates via Google Play. If automatic updates are switched on there, they are installed automatically. You can change this in the Google Play app under Profile → Settings → Network preferences → “Auto-update apps” or via the menu on the app’s page. We recommend leaving automatic updates switched on.
“Permanent” for one-time purchases (for example the Starter Bundle) does not mean unlimited security support; the support period stated above applies.
Reporting vulnerabilities (Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure)
If you have found a security vulnerability, please report it confidentially to info@frog-job.com. Helpful details: app version, device and Android version, a description with steps to reproduce, the possible impact and, if available, a proof of concept. Please do not send personal data of third parties.
We usually acknowledge receipt within 5 working days, keep you informed of progress and fix confirmed vulnerabilities as quickly as possible. Please give us reasonable time, usually up to 90 days, before publishing details. On request, we will credit you as the finder once the issue is fixed.
If you act in good faith, follow these rules, do not access or modify other people’s data, do not disrupt services and do not demand anything in return, you need not fear legal action from us. We do not offer a bug bounty.
As required by law, we report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe security incidents via the single reporting platform to the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and ENISA, and we inform affected users about mitigation measures. We report vulnerabilities in integrated components to their manufacturers.
Deleting data and decommissioning the app
In the app, Settings → “Delete all data” removes your game progress, settings, stored purchase data and scheduled reminders. Uninstalling the app or using “Clear storage” in the Android app settings removes all of the app’s data on the device, including the consent values. A subscription must be cancelled separately in Google Play. Because we do not run a server, there is no account to delete.
Before passing a device on, it is best to reset it to factory settings.
